Updates to follow regarding processing the materials requested under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Here’s what the letter says.
Requesting the documents is simple. There are clear directions on how to file your request on the website. E-mail requests are not permitted. Since President George W. Bush’s mandate to establish FOIA Requester Service Centers in 2005 with signing Executive Order 13392 – Improving Agency Disclosure of Information, requesters of CIA information may check the status of their request here.
